mouse help

my brother set my computer to open everything on one click and i dont know where to go to undo it running xp pro if it matters ive gone through all the mouse settings and i cant find it

open up any folder (i.e. my documents) and go to

tools>folder options.

the third rectangle below in the "General" tab, make sure the radio button for "double click to open an item, single to select" is selected and not the other one.
