mouse issues

recently i got myself an SSD so fresh install of windows and all drivers, but now when i use my mouse sometimes the left click doesnt work. I unplug and replug in to force driver install and it works fine for a while then goes back to not working sometimes. Its just a generic usb mouse so no special drivers from website ... please help.
 
Try uninstalling the mouse driver in Device Manager then restart your computer. Windows should reinstall the driver for you on the next system load.

Try the mouse on another machine first to distinguish whether or not it is the mouse that is broken before you fiddle with drivers.
