Mouse Problems

OK i come home from school and i find that my mouse doesnt work. .its just sitting there froze ont he screen but everything else works perferctly. SUposedly My borther was using the computer and the mouse just froze. I tried restarting comp and plugging in mouse again and it still didnt work. I also tried plugging in another NEW mouse which worked for like 5 minutes but then the cursor froze and now it doesnt work anymore. I tryed runnign a virus scan but it didnt come up with any viruses. SO if any of u guys can help with this problem feel free to post

can be issues with the mouse port, have you tried checking it to see if there is anything physically wrong with it? or any dusts, etc..
 
is it a PS2 or USB port that your plugging it into? As computerhakk said, it may have issues. Try using a different port.
