mouse uncontrollable in games for windows live

[Motorcharge]

Just started randomly happening today. I'll launch a game and my mouse goes out of control. Menus will just continuously cycle or the menus will spin. It's exactly what happens with console controllers when the menus will just cycle til you disconnect then reconnect your controller.

Ideas on how to fix it?

Been happening in Fallout 3, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and Dirt 2.

Never had this problem. maybe uninstall your mouse and keyboard, shut down (with the power ubtton on your pc) plug your keyboard and mosue back in and boot up.
