hi, i am using a secondary Logitech mouse with a compaqc500 notebook pc. the wheel doesnt scroll in IE8 or vista. though i can select links w/ the wheel in IE8 only. mouse properties is wheel enabled. Any ideas why no scrolling?
Check into Control Panel and go to your mouse settings and there should be a option where you can select what specific function you want your wheel to perform. It's possible that it's set to do nothing and that's why is not scrolling.
hmmm...i browsed all mouse options. im not finding a specific option for the wheel. the wheel tab only, & its set for 3 lines per scroll...am i just not seeing the option i need?
