Mouses - USB or PS/2?

Does it matter?

I have USB mouse, but it doesn't work as well as I would assume. Might be just about the mouse of course.

At least one computer expert dude told me once internet connection is much less reliable on USB.

That's laughable.

Anyway, it makes no difference, although PS/2 mice are analog and USB is digital.

USB mice are much more responsive.

only problem is ya might have to clean the surface table.
pledge or something similar. works well and always has.
One thing though. i would buy from a store. Feel it and
get one ya like. want it to wrap around the hand and fit.
always liked logictech mouse and keyboard.

I personally havent noticed a difference, in the different technologies, but i did notice the difference when i upgraded my mouse, but i think that was mainly cause the shape of it. i like my mx :D

USB may be able to handle more data at once, thus allowing for higher dpi/resolution mice, but that's really it. Under most circumstances, there really shouldn't be any difference.
