Movie burning software

Hi guys,
I have Nero and i find its hard to get my movies burned off.
I need something to burn off .AVI files without converting or anything of that matter.
As i am seeming to have trouble with converteing files and such.
If anyone could reccomend some good free burning programs.
Or a good free converter id greatly appreciate it

this is a trans coder. it will convert avi to practically anything. it is really complex but it is easy to convert avi to mepg-2 for dvds

if you want just a cd/dvd burner for free on windows this is a good one. does iso music data etc

if you want to make custom dvd menues bookmarks etc you can try using this one. i have used it and it works but take a while to play with. it is about a year old since the last update, but it does have an active forum comunity. use DVD -RW as you will coster a few 10 DVD's untill you understand how to use to get what you want it.

you could just drag the avi over in explorer to the cd if you don't want to encode it. then press write files to cd.
