movie file problem

i have this movie file that i downloaded, when i open it, either with wmp, real, or wimnap, the file appears to be only a few seconds when it's actually 20 minutes. and when i click around different parts of the progress bar, i go to different sections of the movie, but i can only watch that part for a few seconds. what can i do to watch that movie?

What's the movie and where did you download it from?

if its a torrent movie it usually works, but before you go messin around try it in the progra VLC Media Player, it can do just about anything

Most Likely a corrupted video file, there may be software that can be downloaded to fix the file.
