moving a raid form one computer to onther

i've moved my raid array from a p35 to a x48 with no need to reinstall.

do you think i can go from a x48 to an x58?

it's a 2 drive raid 0

I'm still fairly new with RAID, so I can't say for sure... However, I'm pretty sure you're fine as long as the chipsets are the same or very similar. I assume in the cases above the RAID capabilities were all within the chipset and not some external chip. Since each of these have been a step up from the previous, I don't see why it wouldn't work... Heh, but again, I'm still not 100% sure ^^;

I just moved my Raid 1 setup from a P965 chipset to P45 and had to do a repair install. It all depends on the chipset and hardware.
