Moving Operating System and Programs to new Drive

G'day all ... is there any way to move the Operating System from one disk to another without reinstalling? I have just purchased a spiffy new hard disk for my pc. It's much faster and more efficient than the ones I have now, and I would like to move my operating system and program files to the new Hard Drive. Is there any way of doing this without completely reinstalling the OS & all of my software? I know I will also have to designate my new Hard Disk as the C: Drive. I'm running Windows XP-SP2 on an AMD 64-bit 3500.
Thx!!:o
