Mozilla Firefox help???

I have the mail icon on my navigation toolbar, so that when i click it, i can read my mail or send a new message, but my problem is when i click on either read mail or new message it opens it in internet explorer is there a way to get it to open in firefox, along with anything else internet related? because alot of things still open in internet explorer...

Is firefox set as your default browser? Just go into Start>Program Settings and Defaults> and Select Mozilla Firefox for the Default Web Browser.

If your using outlook or outlook express i know that it explicitly opens it in IE, outlook makes sure it opens in IE in order for it to "Display Correctly" or so they say....

I believe that is set that way by MS. You can't get MS updates without IE either.

Is Hotmail POP3, IMAP, Or Exchange compliant?

My MSN messenger does the same thing when i click the button to check your mail- its a Microstoft service, so they wont let you change it. I just go into Firefox and do it manually.
