mp3 cut programes/softwares

i have few mp3 audio files about 170mb long (more than 80 mins). i want to cut these files into 60 a piece so it can be fit on a cd or so. what are the best programes (softwares) to used cut mp3s or workaround this particular area?.i really dont mind if i have to pay for the software.
 
I've always had a lot of success with Acid. I think that 5.0 is out, so it should be easy to get a fairly cheap copy of v3.0 (which is what I've been using for a while)
