I'm looking for a list of encoder engines for MP3 file compression. I'd like to know what options there are. I see a lot of LAME encoder references no matter what I search for. I would also like to know if I find an encoder engine that suits my need, can I just drop this file into my MP3 programs folder and expect it to work?
