MP3 not deteced

[HELP_ME]

i have an iriver ifp-700 series mp3 player. its about a year old and i tried to upload some songs to it and the dam thing wont connect to the computer. The software and computer dont detect the player :S. I need this fixed, any help MUCH appreciated :].

I had the same problem with my iFP-795, back in the day (it died, loved that little thing). I had to try out a combination of logging in, out, opening and closing the Music Manager, plugging in and unplugging the player, etc. I forgot the winning combination... but try all of those.
