MP3 player: Deleting Cache?

This question concern Mp3-players in general, cause i guess thei all have some form of "cache"-memory file?

What will happend when i browse the player in windows explorer and delete thath visisble file "tag_cache"? im main, will the player be permanent damaged? ore will it be auto replaced wit ha fresh one?

cause i have problems with my YP-U1 Samsung player, i can't deafult the player no matter if i use the function in settings, so perhaps this can be an alternative to test? and at the same time delete all content in the player

any ideas is higly appretiated
 
I doubt it will be permanently damaged... but if your worried about that, why not cut it from the MP3 player and paste it to your computer. If it has negative effect, then you can put it back.
 
There is problems now, i cutted out the cach..and emtied the tracklist, and started adding new tracks from scratch, and it worked fine..without this cache it seems, untill i unplugged and tried to re-inplugge in the USB again...
Computer doesnt recognise the Mp3 player any longer, the USB-port works thath i know, cause i tested it with my optical mouse.. so now i wonder again if this is brooken for good again here lol

there is a fabric reset button at the side of the player, where you can needel a thin device in, i have done it, but it doesnt help

its possible and play the files, and i have tested to delete them all from inside the player...but it doesnt help either

i wonder if the store i buyed if from can solve this..but i doubt, its 3 years old

this seemes like the end..ore what fo you say?

Plug it into the USB on your PC, and try to navigate to it from (provided you're using Windows) Start > My Computer .. it should be listed in there as removable storage.

If you can do that, you'll at least be able to manually add and remove files to the player.

If that fails, I don't know what to tell you.
