MP3 PLAYER.. gimmie your opinion!

hey guys,

Im torn between 2 good deals, which should I get? One is a SanDisk so it has the good brand name, it has a longer battery life, a better LCD and it will upgrade to allow me to hold more songs later on. While the other is a Murcury player (did anyone here of this company before? it sounds familiar) that has a cooler look, a voice recorder, alot of little things that I would use like a stopwatch, calorie counter, flash light, timer. (but i have a watch to do the stopwatch and timer... It can only upgrade about to half the size the other can, but you can search for mp3s on that one.

anyways here they are tell me which one you think I should get!

oh and they are within 4 dollars of each other after canadian taxs
 
I have heard of Mercury. They also produce speakers. However, from what I have come across, it's a budget oriented manufacturer (lower quality unfortunately). I would trust the Sandisk more.

yeah thats what I was thinking too, plus it will be good to be able to get up to 2.5GB of space when i want to upgrade.
 
Definitely

SD cards are not that expensive and another 512 will not cost that awfully much. I like the upgradability of that anyway. Seems like a nice choice. To add to that, there are no moving parts which means = small chance of any failure.

yeah right now, i have a sony mp3/atrac3+ cd player and it screws up like anything! and its a sony product so i was really surprised about that, but ill be glad to get the mp3 player.

Sony has been heading down hill with their product recently, I just threw my D-NE9 Cd mp3 player out the window, it made lots of tiny bits when it landed.
 
lol well I got mine working again but ive ordered the sandisk mp3 player anyways bc i want a mp3 player, (smaller, more reliable, lighter, more sound options, and easier to transfer mp3s) ill keep my mp3 cd player incase I need to play a CD :)
