MPEG3 problem

Need Help, MPEG3 problem

im tryin to edit a movie file with MPEG3 audio type..wut im basically tryin to do is to cut (or split) a part of this video but the program that i have doesnt support MPEG3 audio type...i tried to find program for this type of files but couldnt...do i have to convert the audio type first? is there any way to do it?

ps. i used a avi wmv asf mpeg spliter.. help needed

Then thats a bad program or your mp3 codec got corrupted because damn neat EVERYTHING supports mp3

Did you see if there are any plugins available for the program you are using?

There shouldnt have to be any plugins as the proggie will use whatever the system has registered for teh FOURCC and for the audio reqs. .... in case ya need a new MP3 codec: http://www.softnews.ro/public/cat/11/1/2/11-1-2-10.shtml
