MS Config settings

In MS config; General tab, I notice my startup is ticked as selective start up, should this be set to Normal Start Up ?
The load System Service and Load Startup Item boxes are blue and not ticked, can anyone please explain.

If you select normal startup, everything that is listed in the startup tab will start. That would increase the amount of time it would take for Windows to load.

As far as the service boxes being blue, that's normal. Some services start automatically and other start after a certain amount of time or when they're needed.

Thanks, I unticked some of the startups previously. some have reinstalled themselves, eg Adobe is now in twice, how do I delete them from the startup listing?

You can't delete them. Unticking them is all you can really do.
