Hey all, i intend to go and buy msfs tommorow at my local cex but it is used. Does anyone know if it has a one key tied to one account thing going on or wether i can buy it and all will be good?

As long as it's not activated on another machine I don't see why not. FSX is a lot more strict on the license, but all you do is call the Microsoft robot and give it the installation ID.

AFAIK CEX dont sell games that cannot be used I think they have a list of what can and cannot be re-sold, and I think they label the games as offline only if certain features are disabled due to this.
I bought metro 2033 which had gfwl on the case from them and when I got home it asked me to activate via steam, I honestly thought that it would just say that that key had already been registered, but it worked and is now linked to my steam account.
However I just checked the website and they are selling the orange box which I know will not work, as I have bought a copy from a charity shop and just says the key is already registered.

I have also bought from them before and been disapointed, however they did give me a full return and its only a quick walk to the shop so i guess i can try my luck, if it doesnt work ill just go back and get a few dvds

Yeah worked like a charm. And M$ flight sim is a blast, i assumed i would just fky about messing about but i can honestly say my faveourite time on it so far was flying the jet mission to rome. Lasted ages but was a blast.
