MS office on craiglist - legal?

Is it legal to buy new or used MS office on here? They say unopened. It's pretty hard to duplicate all that isn't it? (counterfeit)

No, it is absolutely NOT illegal to sell the "original" software provided you no longer use it and you provide the new user the "original" license. The software license is already paid for.

not necessarily. I bought a new copy of Vista Ultimate off of a guy on craigslist for $80 about 2 years ago. He said he won it through a microsoft contest or something. If you go to get it and he has it, then yes its good and true.

if it wasn't used it should b ok right? it was never installed then and it will then be installed on just one computer and registered to one person....?

As long as you pay for the software it is totally legal to buy it off craigslist or any place like that.
