MS Outlook 2003 Annoyances:

I recently had to reinstall MS Outlook 2003 on my laptop, which runs under Win XP Pro.

1. Outlook 2003 now automatically opens in the “Personal Folders – Outlook Today.” How can I have it open directly into the “Inbox” instead?

2. When in “Inbox,” I’d like to see the “Send/Receive” button displayed in a toolbar again. [I do see the “Send” button in the “Untitled Message” screen when creating a new message.]

1. Tools>Options>other>Advanced Options. In the top box browse for the folder you want Outlook to open in.


2. Be sure Standard toolbar is enabled. Send/Receive icon is part of this toolbar.
