MS server 2003 & MS office 2007

My Network control center is tell me they are getting alot of Category 2 problems on a Gold Disk scan , They want to remove MS office from my file server, Question if MS office is removed from file server how will this affect my end users . most of what they have on the file server are MS office doc. ???

Unless they're connecting to the server using terminal services and using office that is installed on the server to open the documents it won't make any difference if the server does or does not have ms office on it. All that matters is that the end users have the proper version of the software on their pc's to open it with.
