MS Word question

is there a way to get my MS Word to open off of a slave drive? I am having a problem with XP and it wont boot up. so I put that drive in another computer and am trying to get word to open up.

any tips?

Go into the slave drive, into programs or whereever ms word is installed, and click on the icon.

I tried that. the icons do not look normal, it's as if they are not linked to a program. I tried clicking on the install icons and that did not work either.

if u have the install cd, just install word to the second computer. if your problem with xp is bad enough jus do what i always do..... reformat.
