MS works 2002 vs. Openoffice

Trying to decide which to go with here, taking into account that I have the Works 2002 and license and that Openoffice is free.

So I have a computer that I'm gonna sell and I am putting a new hard drive in it so I have to reinstall all the crap. Now I have the Works 2002 stuff but I'm trying to decide if a buyer would prefer the old Works 2002 or the newer Openoffice stuff. What do you think I should go with? Put on Openoffice but also include the stuff to install the Works 2002 stuff? The computer is about 5 years old so thats why I have the Works 2002.

From what I remember of works it was lackluster. I'd say go with Open Office, or both. I'm sure they will upgrade if they really want Office or w/ not.
 
I love open office and all I use now it writes the same file names is everything else and only takes a lil while to get use to it id say keep the works licence and install open office org on it
 
i'd probably go with openoffice too - works can be dated, and if you're not paying attention (though i can't remember) the default format isn't Word compatible (or it's just Rich Text)
 
OpenOffice is what I would prefer if I were to purchase a computer. I've never really used Microsoft Works, but from what I have seen from it, I didn't like it.
