MSI dropped Their Warranty to 1 Year on Motherboards

Still, most good products won't need a long warranty because they are well made...

Take XFX for example. I bought a 4850 with lifetime warranty and i've had to use it twice already...

not very well made. and that reminds me i need to check my support ticket :P

Who told you only 1 year? Their website clearly states a 2 + 1(2 years parts/labor, 3rd year parts only) year warranty policy on all motherboards:

Also, EVGA doesnt have lifetime on everything. Example, the new FTW3 can only be had with a 2 or 3 year warranty, there is no -A1 version of the board, and only -A1 boards have lifetime warranty.

NewEgg posted wrong information on their website then. I looked at a few MSI motherboards on NewEgg and it said they only had a one year warranty. Glad to hear that is not the truth. If you want to delete this thread Bomberboysk go ahead. I don't want to post wrong information about a reputable company.
