hello there. Guys can you help me with this motherboard... I want to connect to CPU FAN but i don't know where... It has 100 possible pins to connect it to... Can you tell me where to connect the CPU FAN
What is your cpu fan powered by? 3 pin or 4 pin PWM?
I can't get a really good picture of it but I think I can see 5 3 pin headers that are usually meant for your case fans. You should me able to use one of those for your cpu fan. The only problem with that is your fan will not be controlled be the motherboard. It will run at max at all times.
it is 3 pin connector so i can connect to one the five cpu controllers... but now i have other problem after connecting it... My PC starts and it freezes on motherboard logo it does not continue... What may be the problem now...
Oh! well that probably has a lot more to do with it. Have you flashed your bios to the latest version and are you sure that the cpu that you switched it to is compatible with that motherboard?
You may have to use the cpu that you just replaced to update the bios but here is a guide that Linkin wrote a while back that can help you. If you need to flash the bios to a different version.
i have just sold my old processor. I am sure it is compatible with my motherboard... As far as i know my motherboard supports all lga775 processor so i bought core 2 duo e7500 (because i could not find core 2 quad q9300 or above at my country) - my current processor was core 2 duo e4500... Do i always have to flash bios when i change a processor? Is there any other way to flash my bios except to find my current processor and flash it with it...
