MSN error

I've just bought a new laptop & have installed MSN on it , however when I sign in I get a message saying ' some features may not be available in this conversation' .How do I stop this?

What specifically have you installed on it? Msn has a wide range of products.

Did you download the web version or the stand alone version?

If you downloaded the web version that is why you are getting those messages. You should download and install the second link I posted.

I think the problem is that your chatting to people with Yahoo or Gmail Accounts
try checking some with a .hotmail.com or .live.com account

johnb , it was preinstalled on the laptop as Windows Live - messenger , writer , mail etc . I uninstalled that then installed from your 2nd link. Still the same

Yes they are but I never had this on my old laptop
