THE past 3 days i am not avaible to sing in my msn ... :( dont know y.
*Tried other versions of msn = nothing
*Tried windows messenger = nothing
*Tried different email accounts = nothing
*tried an msn in a website = nothing
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
@Dont have any kind of firewall
@Havent made any serious changes on my pc since the last time i sing in
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
DONT know what else to do :(

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
maybe sending an email for support at microsoft or to any1 that can help ?? |
i could use an email that u give me to ask for support :) thx |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

maybe msn is in your restricted sites? (Internet explorer properties/securty tab/restricted sites/sites button).

or

maybe msn has been added to your host file with a bogus IP? (download hoster, run it, and restore original host file button).

Edit: elmarcorulz, I must have posted same time,... :o

elmarcorulz : i get the error 80072eff
Byteman : i tried hoster but doesnt work
and that with IE i cant do that coz i deleted it
i have firefox..but when i was trying to see my mails with msn the IE opened now i dont know how to open it, in programm files/IE there r some files but not open.
and when i try to dl IE again it says that cant install coz a newer version excist on my pc :( :(

hey thx man that web site sings in :)
now that u say about the proxys i think i added a programm to change the proxys in IE {{that must be it}} but how can i access IE now ?? i deleted it and i could only access it when i was clicking on my msn to check for new mails :(

try Start/Run/ then type iexplore.exe :)

Also, if you just deleted the icon on the desktop, you can rightclick on the desktop/properties/desktop tab/customize desktop button, check the box for Internet Explorer.

tried that already but nothing the IE isnt there not even in programm files/IE
cant add it from add/remove win components
i updated my win but nothing....
i need to access IE to remove the proxy option i tried to remove the proxy changer programm i had but it doesnt seem to be installed on my pc it must be a small1 sooo? what to do :( :( :'(

Download and run HijackThis it will detect proxy settings and should list it. If you aren't comfortable with it then just post the the log here and we'll go from there.

open up msn messenger, go to tools > options > connections > advanced and that has your proxy settings in there, post back what it says

I think MSN has its occasional problems due to it being busy, as if you think about it most people go on MSN around the same time (in the evening after work etc) so i think the server sometimes can have a busy period and just seem to deni acces etc

but take into consideration time zones. i think the error is a proxy problem TBH

tomb08uk : i tried many many differend times
elmarcorulz : in connections > advanced are all empty there :/
i dont know if i erased them if you could tell me what to put there ?? or it wont work :(

thats what my settings look like

if what elmarcorulz doesn't work out, below are my suggestions... ;)

-There's your current proxy setting:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyServer = 132.72.23.11:3128

-Just check the box by it and click the Fix button,... It will be gone! (reboot though).

-You also have the DAP adware/toolbar on your machine, did you want that? if so leave it, if not do the following:

Use taskmanger to End Process on the following service:
C:\PROGRA~1\DAP\DAP.EXE

Then have Hijackthis fix the following:
O2 - BHO: DAPHelper Class - {0000CC75-ACF3-4cac-A0A9-DD3868E06852} - C:\Program Files\DAP\dapbho.dll
O3 - Toolbar: DAP Bar - {62999427-33FC-4baf-9C9C-BCE6BD127F08} - C:\Program Files\DAP\DAPIEBar.dll
O8 - Extra context menu item: &Download with &DAP - C:\PROGRA~1\DAP\dapextie.htm
O8 - Extra context menu item: Download &all with DAP - C:\PROGRA~1\DAP\dapextie2.htm

Then delete the entire DAP folder which is Program Files.

-You may also want to check the following to clean things up a little:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {F5E58610-6090-B923-4034-F194B16E0329} - (no file)
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {9819CC0E-9669-4D01-9CD7-2C66DA43AC6C} - (no file)

-There is another thing (see below) that I'm unfamiliar with, so leave it alone for now, it may be messing around with your proxy settings but i'm unsure. So if getting rid of the above proxy doesn't work, we can proceed further.
O3 - Toolbar: Proxy - {98A7C97A-4FFF-4f6e-A313-D21BC759DD99} - C:\WINDOWS\tproxy.dll

-There's your current proxy setting:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyServer = 132.72.23.11:3128

-Just check the box by it and click the Fix button,... It will be gone! (reboot though).
that does seems a very easy thing to do!
