MSN Messenger Problem

My sister is having a problem with MSN on her computer. When she clicks the icon, nothing happens. It doesn't launch at alll. 3 weeks earlier it happened and she reformatted and it worked. Now its happening again and she doesn't want to reformat.

Suggestions?

try re-installing msn completely and remove windows messenger from control panel..if probs persist...try using GAIM (supports msn,yahoo,jabber etc..)

if gaim is lame try web messenger on http://www.meebo.com

if it's a mac, that is probly the reason, coz some ppl at my work have issues with msn on their mac
