MSN Webcam

K, I got a new computer with a remote sensor, awesome, but, when I downloaded MSN it says I have a webcam, and when I try to use it, it says it's unplugged or not in useI never even got a webcam, and I'm think it may have to do with my sensor. Help?

Desktop.

And it's a new Vista computer with a remote to record live TV n' crap. And play DVDs.

That's what the sensor is.

Your conversation cannot begin because your camera is currently in use or not plugged in. Make sure your camera is available and try again.

That's the message I get when I try to use it.

I'm using Window Live Messenger 8.1 (I think)

Those infrared things are fairly new, if I'm not mistaken. It could be that Live Messenger is misinterpreting what exactly it is and you just need to wait for a patch to be released to fix the issue...
