Much difference between regular and OCed 8800GT?

The two differences seem to be 600/650MHz clock speed, and 1800/1900MHz memory clock. And $20.

Do these factors matter much? It's probably worth spending the extra money on a slightly faster card anyway, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Plus, does the OCed version use more power?

Get the cheaper one. It is so extremely easy to overclock a video card its not worth the money in my opinion. As long as it is by a reputable manufacturer lower clocks will do fine.

To overclock it yourself all you need is a program called Rivatuner and you can safely increase the stock clocks to the 650/1900, and if your careful, possibly even further.

I have the PNY 8800gt and I forget to overclock after I boot up windows, so I'm usually running stock but when I overclock I overclock to around 700/2000.

both cards have the same gpu and probably have about the same quality cooler so you are really paying for them just to change a setting you could easily change, but i believe that OCing does void your warranty so some opt not to do it for that reason.

however if you do plan to OC be sure to buy a card that looks like it would stay cool or plan on buying an aftermarket cooler

i wouldn't pay unless it was more of brand/quality difference other than the clock speed difference
