Mulitple Operating Systems?

Hey i am new here i was wondering if someone could help me. I currently am running windows xp, i got a 160gig HDD with 2 partitions. I got a hold of a copy windows vista and was wondering how i install vista on the seperate parition? What programs do i need? Please Help Thanks! Luke
 
Heya

Well you could use software like Partition Magic or Partition Expert to make a new partition. Then you would simply install the new OS on that partitition and it will ask you which OS you would like to boot into.

Thankyou for you help, i have got partition maguc but when i go to install new operating system you can only choose from XP, Linus, ME, 2000, NT and 98 no Vista?
 
what I would do is just make a new partition from partition magic.
don't choose the install a new operating system option. Then pop in the vista cd or open from image drive. Run the setup and it should ask you where you want to install it. Point to the new partition and it should work.
