I added a 200 Gb hard drive as my secondary hard drive but my mother board is only reading 128 Gb even after I flashed the bios. Any one have any suggestions on a real good Motherboard that would allow me to use all the space on the hard drive and be very good for multi tasking ,DVD burning and gaming. I know ASUS is pretty good but which model would anyone recomend

Yeah, gigabytes are better than megabytes. Much more storage...Just kidding. But what is your budget? I love ASUS, but it depends on how much your willing to spend. Also, correct me if I'm wrong someone, but a different motherboard wouldnt make any difference on how much the hard drive shows, right?

What operating system do you have? It shouldn't be the motherboard that's limiting the the harddrive. If you dont have XP sp2, get that and reinstall the drivers for the harddrive and see if the computer reads all 200gigs of it.

I can probably go up to $250 - 300 for my motherboard. And yes it is the board I called ASUS and they told me that the one I have can not read that much GB on a hard drive, Plus I do have widows xp with sp 2 but it the same results.

DFI motherboards are kickass, and so are Abit. Asus is "ok"

Gigabytes are pretty nice too
gigabyte = lose... i had one before, wouldnt o/c at all.
also the bios is hard to read (translated i bet) and so are the books that come with them.:o
served me well though... without an o/c
