*Multi Operating Systems*

Ok I've had mac OS 10.2 on my windows XP home laptop but it was way to slow to do anything with. (I used pearPC which is still in development).

The other idea I've had is to get Virtual PC on a mac OS 10 computer. All I need for that is a virtual PC CD with no OS then install Windows XP CD's, right?

I would like to hear about more ways to have multiple operating systems. Anyone know a way to get a few OSs on a computer. (I have one computer with windows XP home, one with OS 10.2 and 9.2, and another computer with 9.2) I was thinking about getting an external hard drive and installing another OS on it but that won't work for Windows computer right?

You should be able to install Linux to a spare hard drive or partition. It will install a boot loader, such as LILO or GRUB that will allow you to choose which OS you use when booting.
Linux is usually very good about detecting the windows partition and leaving it alone during install. Just be sure that is appears as an option in the boot loader configuration when installing Linux, or you will not be able to reboot into windows.
