Multiple Hard Drives

Just had my 10Gb Hard drive die on me (rather irritating, but with its casing removed it made an unusual mirror). I am going to replace it with 3 x 3.2Gb hard drives, as my friend has loads of them he wants to get rid of. What I want to know is, is it possible to get my computer to think of them as one big drive, or do I have to have three seperate drives (i.e. C:\, D:\ and E:\)?
My OS is Windows XP.

As far as i know, you cannot do that. Windows will see it as 3 seperate drives, there may be software which conjoins drives but i am not wawre of such software.

Software RAID does exist, but I'm pretty sure it sucks. You're better off getting a PCI RAID card if you want to join the hard drives. Plus, it'll open up room to add 4 more IDE devices.
