hey . I herd some1 say that there are lines out there that can take several broadband connections in one go . I want basically to get more and more connections when i need them but i do not want to be installing phone lines every single time. Anyone know ? is it ISDN that can allow it ?

no , what i want is more internet connections ! but the only way i know to get them is to get another phone line and then run a connection down it . But i do not want to be installing phone lines. Is there another way of doing it ?

Well, I don't think there is any other way to be doing it without wires. There are satelite services out there (they cost ~ several hundred initally, ~ $70 a month), but otherwise you have to run new cables.

yeh i think i agrea . I have not yet seen any other way of doing it. What sort of speeds can you get with satelites ?

is there not any other way of say getting the ADSL connections and putting them into some sort of gateway that puts all the connections down into one. And then i can manage that one connection ?

Cheers

are you saying one cable with multiple services? I don't think it is possible.

Why exactly do you want these multiple connections?

because i need more Bandwidth than just 8mb . And as i get more PC's i need to be getting more and more ADSL connections

If the computers aren't being used at the same time they won't really affect each other if they were on a router.
It seems to me you just need to sign up for a cable internet connection. No way around this problem.

Are you going to use this for a business? Like I said look in your phone book for dsl providers and see if anyone will install a business line or if one of them will provide something like a 30MB line if you realy need it. Stay away from satelite they are not much better than dialup and the ping times are out of this world seriously!

actually its easier to get a cable line where I am at then a sat. connection by the way last time I checked sat. was 12mb/s down and 14k/s up, and no that isn't a mistake on the upload, you seriously ping upper 4 digits and like sat. TV if the weather sucks so does your connection. Cell4me was right though your going to have to look into a land line for the kind of numbers your looking for. When I was shopping for my line the best I saw for under 250$ install alone was 3gig/s Business line. Shop around though and don't forget to look at your local T1 and T3 providers
