Multiple Mice/One OS

Hello,

I currently have an s-video cable running from my computer to a tv, so that I can watch movies from my computer on my main televison set. I was wondering if there was a program that allows the use of 2 mice at the same time, so that I can work in photoshop or any other program on one screen while somebody else is on the other doing their own thing.

Thank You,

Just to clarify, I would like to work in photoshop with my wacom tablet (which acts as a mouse) on my television screen, while somebody browses the internet with the main mouse on the computer screen.

Afraid not... no, even though you may be operating different applications on completely different monitors (or TV's in your case), it is still running off of the same OS, and there is no way at all you can have independent mice inside of one OS

You can connect more than one mice, say one through PS/2 and one via USB but they would conflict each others movements... If one were to go left and one to go right, it would end up staying somewhere in the middle...

I've been researching this ever since i posted this thread, and Microsoft makes a program called Multipoint that does what i want. the problem is that its in it's early stages, so it doesn't support multiple monitors, which is what i was aiming for. thanks for the reply though

You could try a stretch so that both monitors act a one large widescreen, then you might be able to use the MS program.
