Multiple Monitors Problem

It was working great the other day, and then I disconnected one to use with another PC I was fixing. I put the monitor back to my desktop for multiple monitors and now it will not be identified and extended on to.

Could it be because the graphics card that it's plugged into has this error?

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" Here's what dev manager looks like:

I reinstalled the driver and that didn't appear to do anything. Any suggestions? The extra monitor is plugged into an INTEGRATED ATI Radeon HD 3200 btw and my OS is Win7.

Code 43 represents a hardware failure. It means the driver has reported to the OS that the hardware has failed. The first thing I would do(since it's onboard video) is either reset cmos settings or update the bios. If neither fixes the issue then you have bad onboard video chip.

That seems damn near impossible to be honest =\. Maybe it's b/c I didn't turn off the computer before removing the VGA cord. I will try the CMOS reset (Go into BIOS and click load factory defaults?)

All it takes is one little spike of power and it could fry something. You would think that unplugging the cord from the video port wouldn't hurt anything but you never know, especially in your case now.

Yeah, go into the bios and load the defaults, just remember to change anything back that you changed previously in case you are running raid or anything.
