Multiple Projectors

Well i tried to find some forums that be more specific for the following question but i always seem to get the best answers here...

question is as follows...

i have a wall area in one of my restaurants and am going to be shooting 2 projectors on to this wall spicing one image/picture with the two. my question is does anyone know any good software i could purchase that would allow me to do the following (possibly with a clock built in)

splice the image
break the two projectors into separate images
do effects like make a logo scroll back n forth over a picture or scene
a clock is a bonus so it automatically does this as i programmed it too instead of manually having to change the effect


Also, any recommendations on a video card that will work well with this?

please also note that this would only be streaming pictures and clips i load.

Considering projectors use the same computer inputs as monitors, wouldn't this be just like a dual monitor setup? I've never had a dual projectors, let alone one projector, but I don't think it would be any harder than a dual monitor setup. The only trouble is getting the two screens to touch and line up perfectly.
