Murder Mod Cheat

I think I'll do this with my wires as a future upgrade:

Basically, I'll just run my cables along the back of my motherboard and attach these to make it look like I Murder Modded them myself

It's not going to look very good, mainly because they use a flexo-PET which has 1 piece of plastic rather than 3 pieces of whatever MDPC-X uses in their sleeve

Well, I think it's a bit better than buying sleeve kits for all my connectors...

24 pin for mobo...
8 pin for cpu...
x4 6 pin for video cards

and assorted others...

Plus the heatshrink and the tools to open the cables.

It'd get pretty pricy.

you would still need a tool(some people can get staples to work) and if you want to change the color of the connectors, you would have to buy those somewhere as well

Reminds me of Corsair modular cables. I like the factory covered ones over the Corsir one's. Just make sure you put the wires back correctly...

Do you have them? Tech flex PET is terrible sleeving in general, especially compared to nylon multi filament/mdpc-X. the thing that makes it look cheap is the fact that you can see the wire underneath

I don't have them, but I've seen videos where they take a MDPC-X Murder-Modded 24pin and a NZXT 24pin and they don't look much different, the NZXT one only looks cheap when bent really hard.

Couldnt you just spray paint the ones you have black then cheap sleeve em later?

Just put a little tape over the opening for the plugs and spray paint away?

only problem with that is the paint will flake off when the cables are bent and will make a huge mess in his case
