I tried to make my own, but I'm new at this stuff and don't want to buy wrong stuff or miss something.

Would someone make me a computer for making music, and multi tasking like photoshop and corel painter. I have a budget of $400-500. I already have a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers. At least 3g's of ram plz.
Thanks.

I wrote an article for your budget range. I t can handle photoshop, IMO, and defitnely multi-tasking. My computer can handle it, its in sig.

A basic look at the computer I "built":

AMD athlon 64 X2 6000, 3,1ghz dual core

4gb ram

9600gso
