Music Editing Software

anyone know of any music editing software that is free and relitively good? i want to edit songs that are on my computer like downloaded songs and add effects and mix songs and stuff

If you want something a little more robust I would suggest RecordForAll http://www.recordforall.com . There is a free trial but to continue its use you will need to pay, but its very reasonably priced.
