Music is Skipping

all of my music is skipping when i play it. its coming from itunes and is all in my music folder. what could be the problem and i would like to run it all through itunes. could the files be corrupt or something like that? thanks :D
 
well i just tried the others and its not playing on other media players. and also when i play a song it will stick in certain places one time and not in others. so its different each time! hmmm any ideas?
 
what i have noticed is that the music only really skips when i am shifting between programs like ff and outlook. could i just be overloading the Hdd?

Besideds the fact is the problem spawns from the use of Ipeiceofshit....cough, I mean Itunes. ;) I dont want to start a flame war.

Anywho, It does sound like its just overloading your pc with to much work. Which is surprising considering your specs.Do you have the latest sound card drivers? Does itunes skip whenever there is no other programs running? Do you have a lot of spyware taking up your cpu? Ctrl,alt,delete, and see if any other programs are taking up a marginal amount of cpu percentage. :)
 
well itunes is poo and its actually my emachines comupter! im pretty much spyware free and also it only when im on myspace. could there be some conflict? :-)
