Music note-taking software needed

A friend of mine has a Mac Powerbook. She wants to connect a keyboard (piano type, not computer) via MIDI, play something, and have her keystrokes recorded as written notes. Does anybody know of a software app that will do this?

I only know off software that you can write notes into not something that can do what you want I could be sure if there is any software to do that! id check download.com they might have something or maybe the cakewalk webpage they do software for musical instruments!
