alright iam gettin a laptop with mce and on my desktop i have 570 songs on itunes how would i transfer them over to my laptop's hdd and itunes
 
if you cant network them, just burn the MP3s to disk, dont make WMP turn them into CD format. You can usually fit around 150-200+ MP3s on a CD.
To do this just open the blank CD like you would burn non-music files and drag and drop the files onto the blank CD and then burn them. When the burn wizard comes up it might ask you if you want to make a data CD or music CD, make it a data CD.
 
If you own an iPod then you can enable disk use and save the songs onto the HDD of the iPod and just tranfer the music.
 
You could transfer them via an memorystick.
You could connect both the computers and transfer them like that.
Or, burn them on a dvd rw disc.
