Must-have security tools

So, I need you to save me once again. A few days ago my PC got infected with some kind of Adware, and it got really slow. I was wandering if you could provide me a list of software you can use to stay better protected, other than the anti-virus of course. Thanks in advance.
 
Honestly, all you need is a level head and know what to do and what not to do online. But here is a list of programs to use.

1. antivirus program
2. malwarebytes
3. WOT addon
4. adblock addon
5. adwcleaner
6. junkware removal tool

I currently have:
1-Bitdefender Free
2-MBAM (Malwarebytes)
3-Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit
4-AdBlock
5-Adwcleaner and JRT (Run them every few days)

Shoul I add something? Maybe get another Antivirus?
 
Today's antivirus programs don't work like they did years ago with traditional viruses. Most issues today are considered malware which most antivirus programs won't catch. This is where malwarebytes, adwcleaner, jrt come in handy. I would install the WOT (web of trust)addon for your browser as well.
