the only issue I ever had with WaW was the sound issue stopping it from booting, but one change in the control panel sound setting and everything works perfectly

apparently a large number of people have had issues with it, more than most games anyway. i've had issues installing the patches and with the game crashing. i was able to fix most of them though.

It may have something to do with me having all my CoD games on steam, so it auto updates. The only issue I have ever had is that when I first install CoD PB doesn't automatically install, so I manually install it and from there it does the rest, but that is a 5 minute issue, that and the sound problem, again, a 30 second problem at most. Had 0 problems with MW2 yet aswell

I had the same issues. Punk buster b wouldn't start. This also happened on BF2142. I also had the sound issue which was causes crashes for WaW, but even after changing the setting I still go random crashes.
