i have 1500 to spend on a gaming pc and thats what im going to get. see anything that needs changing or any suggestions?. This is my first custom build.

So pretty much
Is it all compatible.
Will it all work in that case.
Any changes i should make?
And i have 1500 to spend on it. I'm probably going with win XP 64 bit to support all the ram. Possibly windows 7 but NEVER vista.

Links are broken. And either go vista or windows 7 64bit, windows XP 64bit is utter rubbage, as it is basically server 2003 and not actually XP.

Larger HDD for only a few bucks more:

No need for a 1KW power supply... this would be just fine:

Id go with this mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186163

And this Gpu:

The price of the dominators just doesnt signify much of a performance increase... heck, you can get 2000mhz memory for that price:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231254

Or you can get two kits of this 1600mhz for a total of 12gb, and be cheaper than the dominators:

With an i7, go for a good aftermarket cooler such as this:

My mate put that computer list together he said the 1000 w so i could upgrade in the future.

1000W is totally unecessary, even for future upgrades unless you plan on running tri sli. The 850W will easily run an sli rig. The rig you have posted right now, before adding in say a second video card for sli, is only going to use around 500W or so...

Whats the difference int he gpu seems the same. I'm not technologically challenged just with this whole custom gaming rigs.. Im new to it so dont bite me :P

Well, what im saying is the mobo doesnt have a gpu combo like that, but even without the combo it would be a bit cheaper, plus that gpu has a double lifetime warranty. Meaning it has a lifetime warranty as long as you own it, and then can transfer to another person if you decide to sell the card, helps the resell value of a card somewhat. The foxconn motherboard is cheaper, and also a great board(but only has 3 memory slots vs 6 on the giagbyte). If you do get the gigabyte board though, id recommend going with the XFX gpu..

Thank you alot i was just wanting ot know if i bought all that it would work together otherwise it would be a waste ^_^. Thank you and if anyone else wants to post about all this feel free.
