My 1st Build - Compatibilty ??

This is my first PC build and just ordered all the components for a new PC from newegg. I'm checking out the specifics a little bit closer and I noticed the Aspire 520W PS I ordered has "P4" in the specifications.
Is this power supply compatible with the Asus "K8N' AMD MB? Or do I have to order a PS specifically for the AMD?
Any help is appreciated.
I have a feeling I will be needing more help as my build progresses.

the "p4" connector is an additional square-shaped power connector that plugs directly onto the motherboard. most new boards--athlon as well as intel--require this for sufficient power. However, if you have a PSU that requires one, it won't affect compatability with a motherboard that does not require the connector.
