My 3850 dosen't decode HD video!!! Why?

Just like the title says, when I watch HD vidoes my cpu goes 100% and gets way behind (several seconds) I'm not sure why either I would of thought (however crappy my cpu is) that it would be able to decode mpeg-4! :confused:

I was messing around in the menus in WMP and the option for hardware decoding is deintisified (almost like I don't have a videocard or something). I looked around in neroshowtime but couldn't find anything even mentioning video decoding. I looked around in the ccc and I think I found it, the ATI Avivo thingy, i'm pretty sure I turned it on, but nothing happens.

What do I need to do to make my gpu decode video?

There is a lot of that on here mate, stupid ass lill kids!
Anyways you might wanna head over to www.amdzone.com with your problem, they have a good section on HD media, encoding and decoding.
